I figured since it was made in the USA the quality would be a bit better, but it just didn’t really feel that way to me. It’s not the worst thing ever, but I’m sure I expected more and ended up a little disappointed.

It seemed okay at first, but after just one wet day, the pages started tearing. One wet day, and it was already falling apart.

My first impression when the order from riteintherain.com showed up was not great. The box was crushed on one side, and right away it just looked like there wasn’t enough padding or protection inside.

The notebooks were still usable, but they definitely didn’t arrive in the condition I expected. A couple of the corners were bent, and one of the covers had a noticeable mark on it. For what these cost, I figured they’d be packed with a little more care.

I reached out to customer service, but that didn’t really improve things. It felt like they kind of brushed it off, which was disappointing after the packaging already left such a bad first impression. I probably won’t order directly from them again.

I accidentally ordered the wrong item and figured doing an exchange would be simple, but it turned into such a headache?? The instructions weren’t very clear, and it took way too long to get responses, so I was just kind of stuck trying to figure out what to do. By the time it was all sorted, I didn’t even want the exchange anymore, I just wanted a refund. The products might be totally fine, but the return process was frustrating enough that I’m not sure I’d order again.

I mean, overall it was fine, but the size options felt limited. I was kind of hoping there would be more choices, you know, because it would’ve made it a lot easier to find the right fit.

It works okay, but it does smudge a bit, which is annoying. I was hoping for something that would stay cleaner throughout the day. i’m not really looking for one of those canned “sorry for the inconvenience” replies, I’d rather they just improve the product.

The site felt like a bit of a clunky maze. I kept trying to use the so-called search, but it barely helped, and finding what I needed took way longer than it should have. Ordering ended up feeling like a chore

I was ordering for my team, the whole bulk order process was frustrating. Shipping took longer than they originally quoted, and whenever I reached out to customer service, the replies were super short and not very helpful. The products themselves weren’t terrible, but the ordering experience was literally such a hassle.

I do actually like the products, which is why the whole customer service experience was so annoying. It took days just to get a response, and when they finally replied, it didn’t really answer my question or help much at all. I felt like I had to keep following up just to get basic info, which takes the shine off the purchase. It wasn’t the absolute worst experience, but it definitely wasn’t great either

I ordered a few notebooks and pens, i feel like it should’ve been a straightforward order, right? Shipping was fine, but one item was missing and another came in the wrong size. I really thought I was going to like this notebook, and I guess part of me still wants to, but using it has been kind of annoying. The cover is super stiff, which sounds durable in theory, but in real life it makes the notebook not lay flat at all. So I’m sitting there trying to jot something down and somehow I’m wrestling the pages instead. Also, weirdly, the lines are darker than I expected, not the end of the world, but they keep pulling my attention away from what I’m writing. For a notebook that seems like it’s meant for tougher, on-the-go use, it feels like maybe nobody actually used it for more than a few minutes before calling the design finished

I liked the products overall, but I wish the shipping costs had been shown earlier in the checkout process. I’ve ordered from other sites before where the total is clear upfront, so seeing the extra cost show up late was a bit frustrating.

I really wanted to like this, but it feels way too expensive for what it is. The notebook itself is fine, nothing terrible, but it’s not some amazing premium thing like the marketing makes it sound. I bought this notebook for wet job sites thinking it would hold up better in the rain. It’s definitely better than regular paper, but the pages still got kind of wavy and some of my ink smeared after it got wet. Also, the email I got made it sound like one thing, while the product felt a bit different in real use, so that was confusing. It’s not terrible, but for the price I expected it to perform a little better.

I really wanted to like these notebooks, but the waterproof paper just feels kind of wasteful to me :/ I couldn’t find much clear info about recycling or whether they’re using better materials, which was disappointing. For something made for the outdoors, I expected a bigger focus on taking care of the planet. I probably won’t buy again unless they make some improvements.

I bought some Rite in the Rain notebooks for my brother because he’s always camping and I figured they’d be a practical gift. They’re probably useful, but when I handed them over, it just felt kind of flat. The notebooks look plain, and I felt a little left in the dark about why they cost as much as they do.

He was polite and said thanks, but there wasn’t really any excitement to it. For the price, I expected nicer packaging or at least something that felt more gift-worthy. I can see these being fine for work or outdoor use, but I probably wouldn’t buy them again as a present unless someone specifically asked for them

I had everything picked out and was ready to be done, but when I got to checkout, things started freezing over and over. I tried waiting, refreshing, and going back in, but it kept getting stuck at the same point. After a few attempts, I just gave up and closed the page. Frustrating because I actually wanted to buy the items.

I’ve tried ordering from riteintherain.com a few different times now, and somehow the stuff I actually need is always out of stock. It’s not even just one specific notebook, it’s basic items too, which makes it frustrating.

The site still lists a ton of products, so you end up clicking around thinking you’re going to place an order, only to find half of it isn’t available. On top of that, I swear the terms or details seem to change from one visit to the next, which just makes the whole thing feel more annoying than it needs to be.
I do like the paper and I’ve used it before, but what’s the point if I can’t actually buy it when I need it? I got tired of checking back and ended up ordering somewhere else.
